Teacher Feedback

Brooklyn is a quick learner and very creative. She has a unique ability to grasp new concepts instinctively. Due to this ability, she is placed in above-grade level classes in school, which is where we work with her to help her manage and understand how to deal with concepts that are challenging and how to make the most out of that knowledge.

Parent feedback

Our daughter has been working with Happy Cloud for two years now and they have been wonderful additions to her academic development. With PJ, our daughter works on Circuits and Astronomy and Let’s Learn with Ms. Jani. Their ability to connect and create learning opportunities in the virtual setting is really astounding. With Ms. Jani she does general studies focusing on reading, math, and writing. Their work has been extremely helpful.  Foundational concepts are introduced during their virtual classes and then they’re able to take their time to explore those concepts one on one. Our daughter is able to go into the classroom with a lot of confidence. When curriculum is introduced in school, typically it is not the first time that she is seeing it, which is a really great and boosts her confidence to tackle her studies. Our family highly recommends Happy Cloud without hesitation. Ms. Jani and PJ add so much value to her academic journey, making a fun and creative space for her to explore her subjects.

Liam is a great listener but lacks the confidence to put forth his thoughts in a structured manner. While teaching him to code our instructor, consistently worked to bring up Liam’s confidence by giving him an opportunity to explain his thinking while doing independent coding assignments and also worked on his presentation skills.

I signed my son up for a trial Coding Course with Happy Cloud after he had brought it to his Dad and I. Neither of us know anything about coding but I thought, “Hey if he is showing an interest let’s see if he likes it.”

After that first trial class. My son could not stop talking about not only the course but PJ the instructor. The next 4 nights at the dinner table all he talked about was the coding class, how fun it was, how PJ coding skills were equal to the Super Saiyan Blue power level, what he had accomplished in that one lesson and how we had to sign up so he could finish what he started. Keep in mind we are talking about 9 year old folks.

My husband and I decided to sign him up with one request PJ had to be the instructor. They were happy to oblige and each week we noticed our son starting to come out of his shell gradually. His conversation and engagement with others has also found a new stride especially at school.

I want to thank PJ directly for his kindness, patience and compassion displayed. You really are a great instructor/ mentor.

Teacher Feedback

I started working with her when she was  in kindergarten, she was reading  at a 2nd grade level and Math at a 1st grade level. Due to her quick grasping ability she seemed distracted, often misusing annotation and becoming overconfident.

We added some fun socio-emotional activities, gradually helping her to be a good listener and following directions. This helped us to successfully bring her attention back. We could add challenging content while moving her to a complex examples and higher level  courses. Very soon she became more active, engaged and having fun while learning.

The success of our program is attributed to patience, creativity and collaboration between the child, teacher and parent. We talked about hobbies, interest areas, how to make choices or experimenting with success and failures.

Teacher Feedback

Aryan wanted to learn to code which gives him an insight into the software side of robotics. He is a quick learner, who grasps concepts quickly but is a little self conscious when it comes to sharing his thoughts and ideas. We worked diligently through the coding lessons with Aryan and created an environment where Aryan was comfortable to ask questions, explain his thoughts and ideas.

Teacher Feedback

While she has been great at school, her parents were looking at exposing her to programs that gave her creative mind a platform to experiment.

Anam began with learning the fundamentals of block based coding with us and moved on to learn JavaScript. Our instructor has seen an amazing spark of creativity and imagination in her way of coding in the past year and a half. She is soulful and imaginative, she loves to dream up ways to make the game more and more challenging for her.

She has now built a wonderful game with her hero being challenged by skeletons in her quest to gather 3 chests full of gems. All through this she has a very positive attitude even when she is being dragged down by challenges. From sequencing to variables, she is knowledgeable and thoughtful about her decisions.
